ARBA Rabbit Double Show and DRCBA Cavy Single Show

Location:  13 Frederick Street, Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0

Venue: Millbrook Fairgrounds. Lots of food vendors and washrooms available. Show will be held in the poultry barn – indoors with shade covering.

Term:

Registration will be held day of the show, Saturday June 8th 2024, from 8:00am – 9:15am. Pre Show announcement/introductions at 9:15am. Judging to start at 9:30am sharp.

Fees:

This is a pre-entry show. Pre entries can be done via online or call to the show secretary. Pre entry deadline is Wednesday June 5th by 9:00pm phone or 11:00pm email. Late entries will not be accepted.

$4.50 per entry (rabbit/cavy) per show. There will be no day of entries. There will be no penalty for day of show scratches or switches made before 9:00am. All changes must be made before the show begins. Any scratches made after 9:00am day of show are still required to pay entry fee. Cash (CND or USD) only day of show, USD taken at par with CND funds.

Exhibitors are not exempt from gate fees.

No rabbit or cavy is considered officially entered until the required fees are paid in full, this must be done before 9:00am.

Judges:

Tom Schweikart (Open all breeds show + FREE unsanctioned youth show)

Mark Fiorentino (Open all breeds rabbit ARBA show).

Please note that the youth show will be held at 9:00am before the open show, rabbits are required to meet ARBA SOP.

Show Set up: 

This will be a carry case show. 

Catalog Remarks:

As per ARBA show regulations each rabbit shall have a permanent identifying mark (tattoo) in the left ear. There will be a volunteer set up to tattoo rabbits at the show, fee to be determined by the volunteer.

As per ARBA show regulations, “Show management must remove from the showroom all diseased or unsightly specimens and entry feed on such will be forfeited.”

(B) Youth Sanctioned Show – OFFICIAL ARBA YOUTH SANCTIONED SHOW, ARBA Executive Director, PO Box 400 Knox, PA 16232. ARBA website: www.arba.net. Membership Dues: $12.00 per yr., 3 yrs. $30.00.

(C) Announcement of the date and place of the next ARBA Convention and Annual Meeting.

(D) The American Rabbit Breeders Association host club reserves the right to refuse entries from exhibitors placing an entry from all locations within 150 miles which has had a confirmed outbreak of RCV/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline.
